These condos at Turnberry Towers have some of the nicest floorplans and designs of any condos near the strip, and offer the convenience of a great location, just a block east of the Vegas strip and across from the Las Vegas Hilton, Many buyers walked from their deposits because condos in the east tower could be bought on the resale market at lower price points than the new ones they were supposed to close on, in the West Tower. Potential Las Vegas high rise condo buyers may be able to purchase condos on the south strip in One Las Vegas for as low as 50 cents on the dollar. The project has been foreclosed upon by Corus Bank and the 2 towers, are situated in a great location in the popular south strip area.

A few weeks ago, one of the few owners in ONE LAS VEGAS, asked me to list her condo as a short sale.  My first step was to call Nevada Title Company, and ask the escrow company that issued the title insurance for the original owners whether clear title could be issued.  The answer was, "no". It seems there are so many existing liens on the building that title insurance is problematic at this time.  I am sure that Corus Bank will have to provide some sort of a work around for that issue.

Hilton Hotels has announced that it will bring a new fresh brand to market, called The Denizen. Looking to create a vibe similar to Starwood's "W", and aiming to appeal to that demographic, what better property to call home than the COSMOPOLITAN RESORT?

Bloomberg News reported the new branding this week and the Las Vegas Sun followed with an article about the Denizen replacing the COSMOPOLITAN as Hilton's new brand:

I wish that Deutsche Bank would make an announcement or keep the COSMO's website updated with any news, because buyers are entitled to full disclosure about their purchases. These condos have some of the best views, floorplans offering sweeping balconies, of any high rise condos in Vegas, but I think will all the delays and drama surrounding this project, precontruction buyers have the right to have an open line of communication to the powers that be at Deutsche Bank.
