Lauren & I were really excited about being able to take a tour up into the Beach Club (east tower) this past week. Construction is coming along nicely and the site is busy as is the neighboring CITYCENTER by MGM/Mirage...so much was going on and going up at the intersection of Harmon and Las Vegas Boulevard that the new landscape of the strip is pretty unique and amazing. Enjoy!
Our opinion? The condos at the Cosmopolitan will be one of those "trophy properties" featuring innovative floorplans with expansive balconies offering the best views in town. What do you think?

Phil Ruffin - just bought Treasure Island from MGM/Mirage.
His rooms will have some pretty darn good views of the Cosmolpolitan & CityCenter I would imagine.
Flush with cash from his sale of the Frontier at about $33 million an acre to Elad properties for the site of the Las Vegas Plaza, the Treasure Island will be an all cash purchase.

That must have been great to get up there to check it out! The north side balconies will be some of the most prized pieces of real estate in the entire valley. I wish they would keep one of the towers strictly residential.
While you were there, did you get any hints on when they plan on re-opening sales? All of the rumors I have been hearing have been all over the map. Do you think they'll hold off until at least Vdara opens?
