It's uplifting to hear some good news about our market from the press. There is no shortage of folks who want to buy a second home in our fair city, it has always been a great vacation place, not just for the exciting strip area venues, but for hiking experiences in Red Rock National Park, and the Valley of Fire, and boating on Lake Mead.  There is a lot to do in Vegas. And it is accessible, with McCarren airport having so many connecting flights to cities around the U.S.

With all the bad press we have been recieving lately, many would-be buyers have been waiting on the sidelines for "THE BOTTOM". I think the bottom has surely been reached in the low end...multiple offers above list abound on attractive properties. In the high end - buyers can strike some pretty good deals. There are so many properties out there in the luxury segment.  It may be a good time to strike a good deal on a luxury high rise condo or beautiful home in Anthem Country Club.

TANGIBLE ASSETS may be a good thing to buy and hold in these trying economic times. I can't think of a better TANGIBLE ASSET than a beautiful vacation home in a luxury resort community or a cool condo in Vegas, Mauii, Aspen, Miami, or Idaho, and I will add Flathead Valley Montana to my list!

It was nice of Robb Report to say something positive about our market.  It will be interesting to see what happens with the Las Vegas real estate market once the economy recovers.
